What warranty do you offer on your laptops?
New Laptops
All new laptops are sold with the benefit of a minimum 12-month manufacturers guarantee (excluding software and some consumables).
Most manufacturers we partner with offer our customers a free of charge collect and repair warranty, where this is not the case we will endeavour to assist you via our own in-house technicians, through our customer service team, or by utilising our extensive network of trading partners.
Second User Laptops
All used laptops are sold with either 3,6 or 12 month Return To Base warranty. Should a fault occur, your laptop will be repaired or replaced free of charge. If we are unable to affect a repair or replacement, we will offer you a full refund or upgrade. Please note software is excluded from this warranty.

How do I place an order?
Ordering is easy. You may order online 24 hours a day through our secure server by clicking Add to Basket on any product or by ringing our sales team on 01793 616688 Monday-Friday 9.00am–6.00pm.
Our standard delivery time is 2-3 working days from the time we process your order (subject to stock availability). In addition to the above we also offer next working day delivery on request. We will notify you if there are any delays in the dispatch of your goods either by phone or e-mail. If we are unable to fulfil your order for any reason we will not charge monies to your credit or debit card, or if you have paid by any other method we will return any monies sent to us without delay.

Whether your laptop is in or out of warranty, new or used, we are here to help you resolve any problems you may have. During the first 12 months (minimum) new laptops are serviced by the manufacturer directly, once this warranty has expired then our own in-house technicians are on hand to assist.

What is the cost of delivery?
Delivery charges :
The delivery pricing that you see in the shopping basket is calculated on the individual products rather than a flat rate fee. This gives us the ability to make sure the cost of shipping more accurately reflects the products you are buying and allows us to offer free shipping on selected items if they are purchased without any other products.
For example if you ordered just a 1 memory product the shipping might be £1.99 + vat, if you order a laptop it would be £9.99 + vat. If you order both at the same time the shipping would be £9.99 + vat, the system will automatically use the higher of the two charges. Some items like hard drives or the larger laptop carry cases may have slightly high shipping costs because they need either expensive packing to protect them in transit or have a large volume but low weight, couriers charge more for this because of the space taken up is greater even though the parcel may not weigh much.
All deliveries are sent by recorded delivery, and will require an authorised signature on arrival.
Will you deliver to my work address?
Yes, we will deliver to an alternative address providing the order passes our standard security checks and we can verify the alternative address, if we can not do this then we will only be able to deliver to the card holders address.

Do you ship outside the UK?
Yes we do but only for smaller items, we do not ship laptops abroad.
Can I buy VAT free?
If you are in the EU, Republic Of Ireland or the Channel Islands and you are a registered business then you are able to purchase goods without VAT providing that the goods are delivered to the VAT registered address and you provide us with your VAT number. In all other instances VAT is payable at 17.5%.
What happens if my Laptop goes faulty?

You will be given a returns number, which must be written on the outside of the box or packaging before return. We advise you to keep the box and packaging from the original delivery, which will give your laptop suitable protection, should you need to return it. If you have not retained the initial packaging then please make sure you have used sufficient packaging material to protect your laptop before returning.
We recommend returning your laptop via Royal Mail through your local post office, it is essential that the goods are sent via signed for delivery and we recommend that you insure the goods, as loss or damage during return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.

I have loaded new software/hardware and there appears to be a problem.
If after following the manufacturers instructions you still encounter difficulties then we would suggest uninstalling the software, close down the laptop and start over again. If you are still experiencing problems it may be that there is an incompatibility problem between the laptop and software/hardware.

My laptop will not start up correctly.
If you are running your laptop on AC power (when it is plugged into the wall socket) check to make sure the AC connection is good. To do so, plug in another appliance that you know works & flip the wall switch on and off. If you are running the system on DC (battery power), try using AC. Connect the AC adapter and plug in the laptop computer. How can I improve the running time of my battery?
First fully charge the battery. - Power up the system. - Run the battery down while staying in the set-up screen until the unit completely shuts down. - Repeat the process at least 3 times to get better battery performance (this is known as cycling). What is the difference between US and UK keyboards?
The main difference between the US keyboard layout and the UK is the "£" sign on the UK keyboard is replaced with the "#" sign instead. In windows you can have multiple country keyboard profiles setup which you can swap from one to another with a button on the taskbar.
